On September 2010, Russel was officially recognized to broken 2 world records simultaneously, they are playing magic non-stop for 72 hours, and records for not eat and drink for 7 days.

That 2 records breaking are done by Russel to making proud Indonesia's name in the world although it is tortured himself, but this magician which has original name of Rasyello Moeda said that he also enjoyed it anyway.

This world record has been successful broken on October 2010, where the Satay sticks cooked by over 1500-1800 people and reaching to 75.000 satay sticks. The previous of this beaten world record was booked on Guiness Book of World Record in Brunei Darussalam.

The counting process of the satay sticks had got challenging by a heavy rain down at that time, but finally the 1,8 ton of meats burned has been succesfull to counted. The world record breaking process also had been attended by Lucia Sinigagliesi as the former of Guinness Book World of Record.

The next Indonesian record is the creation of 4 world records simulataneously which took place at Maesa Tondano Stadium, Minahasa city, North Sulawesi province on October 31, 2010 year.

The judgement was made based on participant number and harmony or teamwork when playing the music instruments. It was recorded that 3011 people are playing bamboo-made music instruments simultaneously and 1223 people playing "Kolintang" at the same time, so it was created a nice harmony music sounds with high art.

By the peoples hardwork and teamwork, 4 records achieved by Indonesia. The records are:

  2. Playing "Kolintang" music instruments with the most participants.
  3. Playing giant "Kolintang" music instruments.
  4. Playing giant bamboo-trumpet music instruments.
These world records may be the first ever world record creation on art-cultures category in North Sulawesi province or even in Indonesia.

Playing Angklung With The Most Contestants at USA

The next world record creation is Playing "Angklung" With The Most Multinations Participants. At least 5182 peoples are succeed to play ‘We Are The World’ at Washingtong DC, United States on July 19, 2011.

The booking process of this world record which took place at National Garden Mall Washington Monument, beginned with the given of an Angklung music instruments and a Balinese traditional headband to each contestant, then they playing their Angklung based on one of Indonesia's island name written on their Angklung. The written island names are Sumatera, Kalimantan, Jawa, Bali, Sulawesi, Lombok, Maluku, Flores, Papua, and Halmahera.

Before the announcement of this world record results, the judges of Guiness Book Of World Record said they impressed with the fact if most of the contestants who even never playing Angklung before, but when they was playing it at the National Mall they can togethers played ‘We Are The World' song with beautifully.

An event titled as ‘Dive Pramuka Emas 2011’ became the next world record from Indonesia. The Scout's movement had succeed to spread a 1000 m squares of Merah Putih (national flag of Indonesia) national flag and had succed to bring it to the beach side then at Situbondo Sea, on October 23, 2011. The record breaking was included of 416 divers from main organizations of Scout, Sea Armies, Polices and others diving communities.

Dive Pramuka Emas 2011 was held to celebrate the 50th gold anniversary of Scout Movement, and the event was succeed to break world record and achieved world record certificate from Indonesian Records Museum.

The Longest Marathon Drumming by Kunto Hartono

Kunto Hartono is the only Indonesian drummer who could break world record and achieved the certificate from Guinness Book of World Record for The Longest Marathon Drumming, with time recorded for 122 hours and 25 minutes.

He got the world record certificate on May 10, 2013. Quite a long waiting before he accepted the certificate because he broken the record itself on January 1, 2012 at Malang, Middle Java province. Kunto Hartono beaten the previous record holder Rush Prager when he made it at Sacramento, United States on March 14 2009 with 120 hours recorded.

He did it after passed 6 days and 5 nights without sleeping. He kept hitting the drum with all of his power. His wife is very helpfull as she assist Kunto Hartono to eat and drink while made him keep playing the drum.

The Smallest Island In The World - Simping Island

One uniqueness of Indonesian natures which recognized by whole world, that is the existence of the smallest island in the world in West Kalimantan (Borneo) province. The smallest island's name is Pulau Simping or known as well as "Pulau Kelapa Dua" located at Teluk Mak Jantu (Mak Jantu Cape), precisely in Sinka Island Park, Singkawang. This island is a land composed from sands and rocks with some trees growth above it. There is also built a small temple as the prayer places for the Chinese.

On the island we can see the wide view of beautiful beach, sea, and beautiful surrounding hills. So no wonder if this island is always crowded by visitors and the existence as the smallest island in the world are recorded under United Nations Organization so the world has been recognized it.
